Who is God to you?

Different people have different perceptions about who God is. Some of these perceptions are based on information told to them, their experiences in life, their experiences with Him, etc.

How you perceive God influences how you relate with Him, what He can do through you, for you, and in you.

So, I ask you, who is God to you?

Do you know Him?

Is it only what your pastor told you about God that is the knowledge you have about Him?

Is it just what the scripture says that you know about God?

Have you experienced Him?

Do you have a personal encounter with Him?

What is that encounter?

How has that encounter translated to your relationship with Him?

How has the encounter changed your perception of Him?

How has the encounter changed your relationship with people?

How has the encounter changed your view of the world?

How has the encounter changed your own personal life?

Do you know God for yourself?

Is the knowledge you have of God one that was established due to your relationship with him?

When you realize who God is to you, it influences your belief in him.

It influences your communication, relationship, and growth in Him.

God doesn’t reveal Himself to everyone in the same way. He reveals Himself to you based on your experiences, relationship with Him, and purpose.

He shows us the side of Him that we need in every season of our life, and this can only be possible if we don’t lose connection with Him.

How connected are you to God?

Who is God to you?

Think about it.

Hosea 6 :3 “Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.”
