Hi everyone,
Happy New Year 🎉🎉
Welcome to the year 2025 🥳🥳🥳
May this year indeed be Your Year (because I know you’ve said it already). I pray that the Lord grants the desires of your heart, orders your steps, and aligns you with His plans and purpose for your life. May your life flourish like a palm tree and grow strong like a cedar of Lebanon. The Lord is causing your land to yield her increase and your tree to bear its fruit.
This year, you go from glory to glory, from strength to strength. You will enjoy favor and grace all year round. Your life will be fruitful and blessed and God will exceed your expectations on all sides. By the end of 2025, your testimonies will be so mind-blowing that you’ll look back in awe, knowing that God truly showed up for you in every area of your life. And so shall it be in Jesus’ name 🙏🙏🏽. Have a beautiful year 🥳🥳
It’s been 2 months since I last wrote to you and honestly, that makes me really sad 😔😔. I promised to write more consistently last year, aiming for two posts a month, but I fell short, often only managing one or none at all. I sincerely apologize for this. This year, I’m determined to do better. The goal is to be intentional about Zoewriter, even when it’s not convenient. So here’s my commitment: we’re back to twice-a-month posts!
To everyone who has stuck with me despite my inconsistency, THANK YOU 🫂🫂. I’m so grateful for you. And to those who slide into my DMs asking about Zoewriter, I love you BIG! 😘😘
I know it’s the beginning of a new year, and many of you have been busy with vision-boarding, goal-setting, and planning. You’re probably feeling energized about your dreams and plans for 2025. Well, let me ask you: in all of those planning and boarding, did you involve God? Did you prayerfully ask God for directions and guidance while you planned all of it? Well, if you didn’t, it’s not too late to. You can still pause and invite God into your plans.
I hope that you plan to go on this 2025 journey with God every step of the way. I hope you made plans for spiritual growth: to spend time in prayer, study the Word, seek His will, and grow in your knowledge of Him. Let’s not go through 2025 with a “Que sera sera” (whatever will be, will be) mindset 🥺🥺.
In the words of my father, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, “The greatest thing that can happen to anyone is to be born again. The next greatest thing is mind renewal”. If you’re unsure of your plans or feel lost, start by renewing your mind daily. As you do, clarity about God’s plans will come to you.
Ephesians 1: 11 TPT “Through our union with Christ we too have been claimed by God as his own inheritance. Before we were even born, he gave us our destiny; that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in his heart.”
If God has shown you a plan that feels too big or impossible, remember this: the same God who gave you the vision will fulfill it. He always fulfills whatever plan and purpose is in His heart and your plan is one of it. Your role is to trust Him, obey His instructions, and stick with Him.
And for you wondering how you’ll even survive this year, hold onto this truth from Ephesians 1: 22 TPT “And he alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church. God has put everything beneath the authority of Jesus Christ and has given him the highest rank above all others.” God is the source of everything you need and He will supply all that you need.
I pray that regardless of whatever you go through this year, you will hold onto the helm of Jesus’ garment like your life depends on it, even if it’s just a thread because truly your life depends on it. May God help every one of us 🙏. Have a beautiful and fruitful year.
See you soon 🤗🤗!
