Yay!!! Its the year 2023 💃💃
Happy New Year 🥳🥳
Welcome to the new year. Welcome to your best year yet 🙏
As you stepped into the new year, I know you had your long list of new year's resolutions, goals, and prayer requests for the year 2023, but I have some questions for you.
Where did you write them down?
Are the new year's resolutions realistic, or are you just writing them for formality's sake?
The goals, are they achievable?
Do you think God will answer your prayer request if you weigh your relationship with Him, or do you just want to cling to His grace and mercy to help you answer it? Do you even have plans to do better in your relationship with Him this year, knowing fully well that it can change the course of your life?
Before submitting the prayer requests, did you write out your own personal copy?
What do you intend to do with that personal copy, keep it in your bible or jotter all through the year or what?
Well, I don’t know what your answers to those questions are but here’s something that will help you
Habakkuk 2:2 (ESV) And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it."
Take this scripture literally as regards your New Year's resolutions, goals, and prayer requests.
Write them down. Make them plain in a visible place for yourself, and read them every now and then.
Where’s that spot where you can see it every day?
Is it on a wall in your room? Is it in your journal? Is it on your phone? Where’s that place for you?
We all know that the new year's resolutions, goals, and prayer requests will not achieve themselves, and it will take our effort in little ways every now and then for us to get there, which is all the more reason you need to put them in visible places.
Break them down into tiny bits that will help you achieve the overall goal so that you can make progress and track your progress.
Recap: Write down your new year's resolutions, goals, and prayer requests in visible places. Remember to check them every now and then. Take baby steps every now and then that will draw you closer to achieving them and receiving answers to them because they won’t get done on their own. And finally, ask God to help and direct you to achieve all of them.
Bonus: Beyond asking God for a billion and one things that He should do for you this year, take out time and put away your fears and ask Him what He would like you to do for Him in this year. I know it's scary, but you can do it afraid. It will help you get farther this year because you will be walking closely with God on His agenda for your life this year.
Have a beautiful year ahead 💃💃
See you soon 🤗🤗
