It gets better and clearer

Hi Hi,

I know it’s been a while since my last post, and I appreciate your patience. I hope you’re doing well and staying encouraged in your walk with God. Life has its way of keeping us busy, but I’m grateful for the opportunity to write to you again today.

I want to talk about something that I believe many of us can relate to: those confusing, frustrating moments in life when things just don’t make sense. We’ve all been there, right? You’re going through something, and it feels like there’s no reason for it. Maybe it’s a situation that seems unfair or a season of life that feels particularly hard. And in those moments, it’s easy to wonder, “Why is this happening to me?”

But here’s the thing I’ve learned: It gets better.

When we’re in the thick of it, it can be hard to see beyond the immediate pain or confusion. But as we grow, both in wisdom and in our walk with God, things start to make more sense. We begin to see how those difficult experiences shaped us, taught us, and prepared us for what’s ahead. At the moment, we might not understand the why, but with time and God’s guidance, the reasons often become clearer.

Let me encourage you with this: If you’re in a season right now where things just don’t make sense, hold on. It’s only for a moment. Romans 8:28 NIV tells us, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” This scripture reassures us that even when we don’t understand the purpose behind our trials, God is working it all out for our good.

One of my favorite examples of this in the Bible is Joseph’s story. Imagine being betrayed by your own brothers, sold into slavery, and then wrongfully imprisoned. None of it made sense at the time. But years later, Joseph could look back and say to his brothers, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives” (Genesis 50:20). What a powerful reminder that God can turn our darkest moments into something beautiful and purposeful.

Another scripture that comes to mind is James 1:2–4 NIV “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” It’s in those tough times that our faith is stretched and strengthened. It’s in the struggles that we grow and become more like Christ.

So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed, confused, or frustrated right now, take heart. These experiences are not without purpose. Lean into God, trust His timing, and know that it gets better. As you continue to walk with Him, you’ll gain the wisdom to understand and the strength to overcome. And one day, you’ll look back and see how all the pieces fit together perfectly.

God’s plan for your life is good, even when it doesn’t feel like it. So, rest in Him, knowing that He’s got you. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).

I pray that no matter what you’re going through right now, you’ll hold on to this truth: It gets better. God is with you, working everything out for your good, and as you grow in Him, you’ll come to see the beauty in the journey.

Prayer: May God grant me clarity during confusion and strength in times of struggle. May I trust His sovereignty and goodness, even when I don’t understand in Jesus’ name.

Have a blessed week, and remember, whatever you’re facing today, it’s only for a moment. It gets better and clearer.

See you soon 🤗🤗🤗.
