How are you?

Hi dear,

How are you?

I know you are surprised to see that’s the title of today’s blog. But yes, how are you really?

I usually ask this question in different blogs, but it hasn’t been the main subject of our blog. However, today, I felt led to ask you, How are you really?

And much more, how has the year 2024 been for you?

I’d go first.

January started well, but since last month, I’ve been going through a lot, and a lot has also been going through me 😂. I’ve had moments of fear, doubt, anxiety, and uncertainty. I’ve had to question almost every area of my life. I’ve had to stop in my tracks at different points to ask myself if I know what I’m doing or if I’m doing the right thing. If I’m even meant to be doing any of the things I’m doing, and finally, if I didn’t get myself in some of the situations. And this happens multiple times a day. My friend calls it an Existential Crisis. I’ve also felt like I’m struggling with a lot of things generally.

But guess what? I don’t have all the answers. And sometimes, I’m reminded that it’s part of the age I’m in. So, after going through all that questioning, I pick myself up every time and continue from where I stopped because we don’t give up over here. Even if we have questions, we keep going while still seeking the answers.

I spoke with a colleague a few days ago, and she told me about how her year started with several sad experiences and how God has made this month of March a season of restoration for her and brought her into new things. Of course, I did tap into her testimony because I need that kind of miracle now. I pray you also receive restoration if you need one (Amen).

I was almost not going to write tonight because I got home late, was tired, and didn’t have any pending drafts or even an idea of what to write. That was enough reason not to bother, but since we had an agreement at the beginning of the year that I wasn’t going to go on hiatus at all, I couldn’t afford to.

Now that you know how my year has been, how are you, and how has your year been?

There’s been so much going on in the world: the inflation rate going up, the cost of living getting expensive, companies struggling to keep their staff, employees struggling to keep their space, the economy going down, mental health being affected, etc.

So, how are you holding up?

Has it been a beautiful, smooth ride, or are you trusting God for miracles just like me?

Do you have godly, good, and positive people surrounding you to make the journey a little easier for you? Well, I do. They help keep me covered, on track, and checked.

If you don’t have any, I highly recommend you find at least one.

Also, no matter what you might be going through this season, please don’t leave God. I know it might not be easy for you. Be deliberate about not leaving him. Speak to someone about your relationship with God if you find yourself slacking.

Above all, seek help if you need it. God would send a man to you to help you; however, sometimes you need to be the one to voice your situation to the person. As my Bishop says, “A closed mouth is a closed destiny”. Sometimes, it’s even God’s face you need to seek help and answers from. So, don’t hold back. Seek help.

I hope we all get through whatever it is we are going through and get back to the happy, lively, and free-spirited beings that we are.

While on this journey, I’m sending you plenty of hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗.

And if you are doing fine, I pray for you that your joy will not be short-lived and that God will continue to keep you fine and happy.

I pray for us all that God will wrap His arms around us. He will grant us our deepest desires and fill our hearts with love and joy again. There’d be a turnaround in the world, in our countries, and in our individual lives and families. I pray we all get our testimonies soon.

Have a great time. I’ll see you soon 🤗
