The word of God is true
The word of God is powerful
The word of God does as it says it will
Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”
Everything else may fail and disappear but God’s word will always remain true and stand sure.
Isaiah 55:11 “So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
God’s word will always do that which He has sent it to do. It will accomplish it’s purpose. But for us to see the word of God working, we must first know the word of God and what it says to us about our situation and circumstances.
2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”
As a believer who wants to see God’s word working, you must love the Scriptures, study them, pray them, and live by them. The word of God has the ability to change human heart and human situations because it was written by God and it has the breath and power of God in it. You must read, study and meditate in God’s word until it finds its root in you for you to see its work in your life.
There is no situation without a reference to it in the scripture. So, when you find yourself in a troubling situation, find the scripture that speaks to that situation and circumstances. Speak it to yourself every now and then. Speak it out loud, speak it in your heart. Meditate on it. Gain an understanding if what the scripture says about that situation. Then, begin to speak that scripture back to your situation and circumstances. If you have faith and believe in the words that you are speaking, you would eventually see it’s manifestation in your life.
