Happy New Year!!!! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ

Welcome to your best year yet!

May this year take you into great and mighty places and give you the most favourable experience youโ€™ve ever had in Jesusโ€™ name ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

I know itโ€™s a new year, and as usual, you already have a long list of goals, dreams, prayer requests, and aspirations. But my question to you today is, how prepared are you?

But first, a few random stories...

When I finished university, I wasnโ€™t sure what I wanted to do with my life, as the course I studied wasn't initially what I wanted. I spent the next year applying for jobs and going to interviews, but I got no job until the year was over. Itโ€™s been 6years since I finished university, and I look back now on the journey and cannot help but be grateful to God for that 1 year that I stayed home. It was a preparation time for me for my present level. And even all the other experiences that have brought me to where I am currently in my career.

On November 15, 2023, I had an emotional breakdown, and I reached out to my friend after crying almost all day. And I was so grateful I did. After ranting to him and going back and forth on the things that were on my mind at that moment, he said to me, โ€œYour current level right now might not get you certain things. You need to come up hitherโ€. After much struggling with him, I couldnโ€™t help but agree with him. I wasnโ€™t exactly prepared for the things I thought I wanted.

And then, on the 8th of December, the Holy Spirit reminded me about the different parts of my life that He had to prepare me for before bringing me into the reality of it. From my career to finances, to ministry, and so on.

So, I ask you, if you got the answer to that request right now, are you prepared for it?

If God is truly ready to take you to the level that youโ€™re hoping, wishing, and praying for, are you prepared for it?

Be true to yourself

A few days ago, Dunsin Oyekan said, โ€œThe things you are looking for are looking for you too, but not this version of you.โ€

Is this version of you ready for the things you hope for?

Is this version of you ready for the miracles you are asking for?

Like me, do you need to come up hither?

All of these different experiences and conversations brought me to the realization of how much God wants us to be prepared for the things He wants to do in us, through us, for us, and with us.

As you go on the 2024 journey, ask yourself:

Am I prepared for the things I truly want and desire out of life?

What do I need to do to prepare myself?

Whatโ€™s the first step I need to take to get prepared?

What do I need to start doing right now?

Is it getting closer to God?

Is it upskilling or learning a new skill?

Is it starting a savings plan or investing?

Is it time to start eating healthy and taking care of your body?

And if youโ€™re unsure of what to do to get yourself prepared, ask the Holy Spirit. He has the answers.

1 Corinthians 2:10 NKJV โ€œBut God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.โ€

See you soon ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿซ‚
