God loves you
Yes He does
Regardless of what the world has told you and made you believe
Regardless of what your situation has made you want to accept
God loves you
Romans 5:8 NIV “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us”.
The human mind is incapable of understanding the story of the death, burial, and resurrection. Nobody at random would agree to go through it. It’s an experience that only a love this immense can get you through, and that’s exactly what happened. Because how do you justify choosing to give your life for someone who ordinarily ought to be an outcast or someone you should despise?
Psalm 23:1–5 KJV “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
This Psalm reveals the different ways that God shows his love towards us (provision, direction and guidance, restoration, his omnipresence attribute and so on). And if God has shown this much love to us, why are you unwilling to accept this love?
1 John 3:1 “See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.”
Carry on this mindset everywhere you go “God loves me. I am his child”. If you have to repeat it to yourself for you to believe it. then do it. Don’t try to look for an explanation for why He loves you cause you won’t find any. We do not deserve God’s love. No one does. But the amazing news is that He loves you anyway.
My prayer for you: Ephesian 3:18–19 NLT “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
