God is never off duty in your life.

He is constantly loving and working on bringing you into His plans and agenda for your life.

One of God’s ways of working overtime on our behalf is sending Jesus to die for us, redeem us, and set us free from the enemy’s grip.

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

God is constantly on the lookout for us.

Psalm 121 vs 3–4 “He will not let your foot slip, he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”

Sometimes, you find God reminding you to take action about something that may cause danger to you. Still, because of your human nature, you sometimes forget or ignore but somehow, because of His amazing love towards us, He still goes on to find a way to avert that evil for your sake.

God stays with you if you lose your way. Taking your own path over the one God created for you will get you lost. He patiently waits till you trust Him, as he remains beside us at every step. Proverbs 3:5–6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

God continually works on your personal life events. You will always feel His hand in each situation if you know Him. Whether your case is pleasant or discouraging, know that God is always there for you. Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

God patiently draws you closer to Him like the loving father He is. He is eager for us to listen to and understand His teaching. Proverbs 4:1–2 Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction; pay attention and gain understanding. I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching.

God comforts those who call to Him through the Holy Spirit. Peace and joy are never far when we are filled with hope from the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

God is totally committed to each of us.

He works overtime in our lives and situation.

The more we appreciate this, the more natural it is for us to give Him more of our time.
