Deck the halls with boughs of holly

βTis the season to be jolly

Yay!!! Itβs that season of the year again and Iβd like to be the first person to wish you a Merry Christmas π π π and a happy new year in advance π₯³π₯³π₯³π₯³
Remember to rejoice and be merry in this season regardless of how the year has looked so far.
I know weβre supposed to be talking about Christmas but then, I felt the need to share this. I did an exercise about two weeks ago and I just thought to suggest it to you.
I had a conversation with someone and you know, I was mentioning the things I thought I was going to achieve this year and how I felt my year was going and then the person asked me why I wasnβt thinking about all the things that God has done for me instead.
Fast forward to Sunday which was thanksgiving in my church, the sermon was about how we fail to thank and appreciate God because weβre looking out for just the tangible things and not the intangibles.
So, I got home, picked up my phone and went to my notepad, took the year month into month and started to list out all the happenings in each month in my life, my family and my country as a whole. Right on the spot, I got 20 things Iβm grateful to God for in 2022. At the moment the number is still increasing and everyday seems to be a reminder to me that God has been faithful to me and my family this year.
You should do the same as that would help you shift your focus from what you have not achieved or received, to the faithfulness of God to you. I really hope you do it.
Have a Merry Merry Christmas this season. Celebrate the one who is the reason for the season, eat enough chicken, drink enough juice, spend time with family, friends and loved ones and find some time to rest because another journey is about to begin.
Merry Christmas π π π
P.S: Thereβs an important announcement next week.
Iβd be expecting my chicken ππππ
