Today I would like to encourage us to be influencers for Christ. Just like your favorite influencer, you too can be one.
And to be an influencer means you are having an influence.
What then is influence?
Influence is the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something.
Read that again and think about it. Are you having an influence on the people around you?
If so, is the influence of Christ?
1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
Does your conduct, attitude, and behavior set a standard for Christ to the people around you?
Do your words match your actions for Christ?
Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father, who is in heaven.
Is your light shining?
Do men see the good works in your life?
Do men give glory to God because of the influence you’re making in their lives?
Think it through and begin to make a conscious effort to be an influencer for Christ.
Take it a step after the other. It’s a gradual process but if you stay deliberate about it, you’ll get there.
